Vision Graphics Produces “Products” for the Light the World Vending Machines
Making a Visual Impact for a Noble Cause
According to Roger Hendrickson, Account Representative, Western Region, “At first, the machines were stocked with small boxes representing the different products. While these gave the illusion of familiar vending machine products, they did not hold up very well during the repetitive purchase and restocking cycles.”
To help with this product, Vision Graphics produced product tiles, made out of a lightweight styrene-faced foam product. In this application, the product tiles were perfect as they were lightweight, more durable, resisted damage from the small fall within the machine, and they helped facilitate the re-stocking process.
Most importantly, the products effectively attracted the attention of passerby’s. According to church spokesman Daniel Woodruff, the vending machines logged 23,899 transactions and collected $469,085 in donations.
