The process of making fine art prints from original sources. You original artwork can be reproduced either from electronic file or we can capture it through a complex scanning or photography process. Each piece is then fine tuned by our artistic professionals to ensure accuracy and the closest replica possible! All reproductions will take approx. 2 weeks.

Standard and custom sizes available in many different forms or media depending on your desired project.

Artwork capture with color correction and proofs is $50.00 per piece.

Wedding Invitations Samples

Important Information

Payment/Ordering Terms - Customers can apply for open account by completing our credit application. Upon approval of open account terms, payment must be received within 30 days from the date of invoice. We accept checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A purchase order or order form must be submitted before we can process your order. .

Artwork (Electronic) - We have an electronic workflow and accept all PC and PC compatible files. Artwork must be submitted  according to our pre-flight guidelines to ensure proper file output and to avoid setup fees. Templates and tip sheets are available at www.ogdenblue.com. Incorrect files will delay production. We will notify you of charges to correct or alter files. While utilizing our FTP site or emailing smaller files, be sure to properly label the transmission with your  information so we can match it to your order.  Send .PDF hard copy of your file expectations with your purchase order or order form.

Artwork (Copy Errors) - Customer files are reviewed before output to ensure accuracy and that your expectations are met. However, we are not liable for errors in customer submitted files or for unexpected file output when no color separated lasers are sent. Additionally, when a remake is warranted the order will be produced according to the original specifications, without alteration. (see Printing - Four Color Process)

Proofs -  PDF: $5.00 (NET) each. Color Digital: $5.00 (NET) each. Proof approval or changes need to be indicated in writing. Changes made incur additional prep charges. Production time begins after proof approval. A reasonable variation in color between proofs and the printed piece may occur.

Printing: Four Color Process - The four color process prices shown in the price tables are based on customer supplied files in acceptable programs with hard copy verification (fax lasers or send .PDF) Process graphics must be in CMYK and NOT RGB. All PMS colors in files will be converted to CMYK process equivalents. We are not responsible for color shifts that may occur when PMS color in files or RGB files are converted to CMYK. Never rely on color monitors for accurate color representation. (See Color Matching)

Color Matching -  We make every effort to produce a reasonable representation; however, Ogden Blue like all other  commercial printers, does not guarantee an exact color match.

Changes/Cancellations - Changes to orders in progress may or may not require additional cost and/or time. Cancellation after order is in progress or materials have been ordered will require payment for work performed, materials generate or re-stocking fees incurred. There is a minimum $25.00 (NET) order cancellation fee.

Production Time - Production time depends upon job type and quantity ordered. Please advise in store associates of your requried needs to completion when ordering. 

Rights To Promote - Ogden Blue reserves the right to use all products produced by the staff company's advertising, promotional literature, displays and sample programs. In additional, the purchaser agrees to assume any liability resulting from actions or demands brought against the manufacturer for copyright infringements.

Samples -Samples are available in-store for paper types, print quality, production sytles and finishing options. Please ask your associate for which options will ensure the best finished product for your individual job. 

Pre-Print Checklist

• Download design template from Ogden Blue website
• Send file copies (never originals) in their native application.
• Convert all type in Illustrator & FreeHand to outlines or paths.
  Include printer & screen fonts
• Embed all images and Flatten Photoshop Files
• Clipping paths should be created in Photoshop
• All files should be sized for printing.
• Save graphic files at EPS or TIFF of PDF format.
• PROCESS GRAPHICS MUST BE IN CMYK, NOT RGB.
• Include embedded or nested images.
• Image scan resolution should be 300 dpi for grayscale & CMYK images. Use 1200 dpi for bitmap line art.
• Place all scans at 100% or smaller (enlargements compromise quality).
• Rotate, scale and crop all images before placing on page.
• Necessary bleed is .125 (1/8") per side.
• If sending design files, please include a PDF file as a proof for accurate printing representation.
• Proofread your files. We are not responsible for errors in submitted files.
