Plein Air

Prepare for the summer Plein Air competitions by learning the character, essence and gesture of what makes objects unique. Begin with a mini workshop on perspective at Ogden Blue then retreat to the field to apply the knowledge you have accrued to create a beautiful plein air painting under the tutelage of a master artist. Limited enrollment. Sign up early!

Airbrush - Wilde
Explore new art possibilities with airbrush. The class will cover basic care, color theory, masking skills, special effects, shadowing, lettering and much more.

All Media - Van Dyke
Finish that painting you started years ago or start something new. You will be guided by an expert teacher who can help you expand and perfect your talent. Choose your subject and your medium.

Classic Academic Oil Painting - Woods
This class gives individual self-paced instruction in the classical academic manner of painting. You will learn solid theory that crosses over into all mediums.

Drawing - Kocs
This drawing class delves into the principles and elements of design as well as fun exercises to improve your drawing skills. Drawing skills are the critical foundation of any two dimensional medium.

Manga & Cartooning - Valenzuela
Let your imagined characters find their life at the end of your pencil. This class will help you obtain a 3D look and give expression and action to your drawings.

Mixed Media - Anderson
Learn fundamental concepts of drawing, design, composition, and creating beautiful color to make fresh, fabulous and intelligent art with these necessary “power tools”.

Oil & Acrylic Painting - Fisher
Use a multitude of surfaces and techniques that promise exciting and beautiful paintings. Learn the tricks of the trade in fine freehand and technical illustration.

Portraiture - Van Dyke
Discover how to master proportions and acheive a likeness of your subject. Select the medium of your choice...oil, pastel, acrylics, charcoal, etc.

Watercolors - Clark
This class is designed for the beginning to advanced student. You will learn composition, color, balance, value and techniques that add richness and excitement to watercolor painting.
